Keinusaari office sold to OP-Pohjola

Pohjola Property Management Ltd has acquired the first stage of NCC Property Development Ltd’s office building in Keinusaari in Hämeenlinna for the property fund under its management. The project’s value with its parking arrangements is about EUR 11.5 million. The positive effect on the result will be allocated to NCC’s 2009 result. In the same context, a preliminary agreement on the implementation of the Keinusaari office building’s second stage was completed. It is to be started in 2010.

The Keinusaari office building will be built in two stages. In August 2009, NCC Construction will start building the first office building to be completed in October 2010. It has a floor area of 4,200 m2 for leasing and a total of 50 parking spaces. The site’s leasing rate is 80 per cent with Mehiläinen, Peruskorjauskeskus Häme, Kantolan Kiinteistöt and NCC Construction as users.

- The investment supplements our fund’s property portfolio excellently regarding its geographical position and leasing agreement structure. Furthermore, the project is implemented in a financial situation where the project’s building costs can be expected to be lower than in previous years, says Markku Mäkiaho, Managing Director of Pohjola Property Management.
