NCC starts the third phase of Alberga Business Park NCC Property Development starts the development of a third office building in the established Alberga Business Park in Espoo, Finland. This new phase comprises approximately 5,500 square meters.

NCC sold Hämeenlinna shopping mall NCC Property Development sold the Hämeenlinna shopping mall in Hämeenlinna, Finland, for approximately 100 M €. The purchaser is the Finnish pension insurance company Keva. The property was taken over on May 7 and the resulting profit will be recognized during the fourth quarter of 2014.

NCC’s acquisition of Destia’s asphalt operations approved subject to conditions The Finnish Market Court has approved NCC’s acquisition of Destia’s asphalt operations subject to certain conditions. NCC will now analyze the conditions while also awaiting the position taken by the Finnish Competition Authority concerning a possible appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court, before the transaction can be finalized.

The purchaser is the German property company Union Investment Real Estate GmbH. The sale will generate a positive impact on earnings during the fourth quarter of 2010.
